Brentford Soul Allstars

Join this event on facebook

We're back at the Lord Nelson for another night of top Soul, Funk, Jazz, Disco and more.. These nights are normally total roadblocks so get there super early!

As we've got older we figured its time to put on a low key night in our local area. But the nights haven't turned out to be low key! Seems alot of people in West London remember the great Breakin Bread nights of the past and the dancefloor has gone crazy for back to back classics from the new and old school.

If the weather is good we'll be kicking off in the garden.

You're in for a great night out in a decent pub with good people, good vibes and top notch music!

FREE all night long

Funk and Soul Revue with Oak Royale & Arch 57, Friday 22nd September 2023

Join this event on facebook

A night of Soul, Funk & Hip Hop with Oak Royale and Arch 57 playing live alongside legendary Breakin' Bread DJs' till late!

19:30-02:30

@ 352 Mare Street London E8 1HR

OAK ROYALE
A 7-piece soul, funk and disco outfit front by soul diva Moll Traser with a reputation for explosive live performances. Combining original jams with covers that nod towards the rarer side of 70s psychedelic soul and funk, Oak Royale's mission is to work the dancefloor into a cold sweat.

ARCH 57
Arch 57 is an over-sized funk orchestra, doubtlessly the funkiest football team-sized band currently rocking the London circuit. Playing deep funk classics from the likes of Lyn Collins to The Whatnauts, it's as if a crate-digger started a funk band.

BREAKIN' BREAD DJs
A soul, funk and hip hop collective which has been running for 25 years putting on club nights, releasing records and broadcasting radio shows. The club moved through various venues most notably Jax in London Bridge, the Rhythm Factory in Whitechapel and the Jazz Cafe in Camden. BB's dancefloor-friendly mix of soul, funk, hip hop, disco and anything related drew the cream of the UKs breakdance scene and some legendary battles were held at the night. The crew now run local nights in West London and guest spots worldwide. The record label started putting out 7" 45's at the start of the soul funk revival in the late 90's and now have 90+ releases to their name.
